About

Dr. Scott Carlton

“I was born and raised in Corona del Mar, CA and currently live with my wife and a three-year-old boy in Aliso Viejo.  I graduated from Chapman University in 2010 with a BA in communication studies.  My whole life I have been extremely active and a passionate endurance athlete.  Some of the things I enjoy are surfing, running, snowboarding, spear fishing, mountain biking and, climbing.  I had always eaten well and cared for my body, and my body, in return, had always allowed me to perform up to my abilities.  However, in my mid-twenties I began to accumulate injuries.  I could no longer engage in these intense sports without tremendous pain.  I decided I was too young to give up the sports that I loved, so I sought out help.

I was introduced to chiropractic and realized that it would be able to help me return to form.  The immediate results I experienced were amazing.  My pain became manageable and my performance in sports excelled. I found not only did Chiropractic rehabilitate my body and return my strength, but it also elevated my spirit and allowed my brain/nervous system to perform on a new higher plane.  Around this same time, I also found Pilates.  Pilates really supported Chiropractic care and accelerated the healing process.   I fell in love with the Pilates Method and in doing so met my wife, Susan.  We now have an amazing and beautiful three-year-old boy.

All of this led me to the decision to share what I had found with others and become a chiropractor myself.  I attended the Southern California University of Health Sciences and attained my Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Helping others to heal and evolve is now my passion.  The transformation we see in patients with chiropractic care is tremendous; I find it extremely rewarding and gratifying.  The opportunity to care for you and your family is something I will cherish.”
